Moving from one city to another is always a big decision, especially if it involves leaving your family and moving to a completely new place. That's precisely what happened to me when I decided to move from Kerala to Mumbai to join the Universe Simplify Foundation. It was my first time moving without my parents, and I was excited but nervous at the same time.

From the moment I arrived in Mumbai, I knew that I was going to love it here. The city of dreams had so much to offer, and I was ready to explore it all. Mumbai taught me to dream big and be independent, which was a life lesson that I will always cherish.

One of my favorite activities in Mumbai was to visit Marine Drive and enjoy the beach along with Rustom ice cream sandwich. It was a perfect place to unwind and relax after a long day at work. However, the weather in Mumbai was a challenge for me, as both the rain and the heat were extreme. Nevertheless, I adapted to it, and it taught me to be resilient.

I was fortunate to have some of the most wonderful colleagues at the Universe Simplify Foundation who were so supportive. It made my transition to Mumbai much easier. Although there was a language barrier at first, I managed to survive and learned to communicate effectively.

Traveling in local trains was a completely different experience altogether. It was both terrifying and adventurous at the same time. I wondered how people managed to eat, study, and sleep on trains until I started doing it myself. The local trains were always moving, and the city was always happening.

One of my favorite places to visit in Mumbai was the Flora Foundation, where you could buy second-hand books at a cheap rate. It was a fantastic place to hang out and explore new books.

Overall, my experience of moving from Kerala to Mumbai was life-changing. It developed me into a whole new person, and I will always be grateful for the lessons I learned during my time in the city of dreams.
