As a STEM Fellow with Universe Simplified Foundation, I had the opportunity to work on some incredible initiatives that had a real impact on the lives of children in urban and sub-urban areas. One of my primary responsibilities was chairing the management of four innovation hubs, which provided a space for STEM tinkering for children in these communities. In this role, I led a team of 20+ innovation hub managers, helping to oversee the day-to-day operations of these important spaces.

One of my proudest accomplishments during my time with Universe Simplified Foundation was securing a fund of Rs. 1.1 Lakhs through crowdfunding on behalf of the organization. This fund was used to conduct science fairs in the rural areas of Mumbai, providing children in these communities with access to hands-on STEM experiences that they might not otherwise have had. It was incredibly rewarding to see the impact that these science fairs had on the children who participated, and I am proud to have played a small part in making them a reality.

Throughout my time with Universe Simplified Foundation, I also had the opportunity to consult with stakeholders on the implementation of the organization's initiatives. This involved gathering feedback on the work we were doing, identifying areas for improvement, and working with the team to make changes that would better serve the communities we were working with. This was an important aspect of my work, as it allowed us to continually improve the impact that our programs had on the children we were working with.

Overall, my experience with Universe Simplified Foundation was incredibly rewarding. Working to provide STEM opportunities to children in underserved communities was an honor, and I am grateful for the opportunity to have been a part of such important work. I look forward to continuing to support the organization in any way I can and to seeing the impact that they will continue to have on the lives of children in India.

Moving from Kerala to Mumbai was a significant challenge for me, particularly because I didn't know the local language or many people in the area. It was difficult to adapt to a new environment, especially one as bustling and diverse as Mumbai. However, my experience with Universe Simplified Foundation provided me with a sense of purpose and belonging that helped me to feel more at home. Working with the team to provide STEM opportunities to children in the area gave me a deep sense of satisfaction and helped me to connect with the community on a deeper level. It was challenging at times, but ultimately, the work that we were doing made it all worthwhile.
