My First Job - Intern at Baker Hughes

As an intern at Baker Hughes, I had the opportunity to work on some exciting projects that gave me valuable experience in the world of corporate operations. One of my primary responsibilities was assisting the Skill Pool Manager in setting up weekly team meetings and counseling newly hired resources. This was an important aspect of the company's operations, as it helped to ensure that new hires were properly onboarded and that existing team members were aligned and engaged with the organization's goals and objectives.

Another project that I was involved in was modeling the layout for the website that was primarily used as one of the tools in the organization's objective presentation during client meetings. This was an exciting opportunity to flex my creative muscles and help to design a tool that would be used in high-stakes situations. I was proud to be a part of the team that contributed to this project's success.

Throughout my time at Baker Hughes, I also had the opportunity to play a role in the company's hiring process. Specifically, I was able to successfully shortlist and hire potential candidates to the various job descriptions required by the skill demands of the organization. This was a valuable experience that gave me a glimpse into the world of talent acquisition and the importance of finding the right fit for an organization.

Zarina, my first manager, was a talented, hardworking, and inspiring person who made a huge impact in my life. She was an exceptional leader who always went above and beyond to ensure that her team members were supported and empowered to achieve their goals. Her dedication to her work was evident in everything she did, and her passion for excellence was contagious.

Zarina was a natural mentor who helped me to develop my skills and grow as a professional. Her guidance and support were invaluable to me, and I will always be grateful for the time I spent working with her. Her leadership style was both empowering and motivating, and she always took the time to recognize and celebrate the achievements of her team members.

In addition to her professional talents, Zarina was also a warm and compassionate person who genuinely cared about the well-being of her team members. She had a way of making everyone feel valued and respected, and her positive attitude and energy were infectious.

Overall, my experience as an intern at Baker Hughes was incredibly rewarding. Working with such a talented and dedicated team gave me a glimpse into the world of corporate operations and helped me to develop valuable skills that will serve me well throughout my career. I am grateful for the opportunity that I had to work with such a great organization.
