It's hard to believe that it's already been 5 years since we established the Pehia Foundation. When we first started, we knew that we had an ambitious goal - bridging the gender gap in technology by encouraging and supporting more women in computer science and programming. And while we had a long road ahead of us, we knew that we had to start somewhere.
Over the years, we've grown to become one of the largest women in tech communities in Kerala, India. We've organized workshops, peer learning groups, online coding competitions, and provided mentorship and guidance to our online community of over 200+ members. We've helped our members attend hackathons together and ace opportunities like internships, jobs, and scholarships.
I'm proud of what we've achieved so far, but I'm even more excited about what the future holds for us. In the coming years, we plan to expand our reach, work with more communities, and provide even more support to women in tech. Our mission is to empower more women to pursue careers in technology and to become leaders in their fields.
I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has been a part of our journey so far - our members, volunteers, and supporters. Without your help and dedication, we wouldn't have been able to achieve all that we have. Here's to another year of making a difference and bridging the gender gap in technology.
